Nature, mountains and lakes

The Vanoi and Lozen streams are rather large volume waterways, carrying less water in winter and much more in the other seasons. The tributaries of the torrents that then flow into these two streams provide them with a scarce but always constant flow.

Nearly 10% of 3000 lakes in the Alps is located in Trentino. 297 bodies of water, mostly glacial, which found high plains, mountains, forests and pastures to the limit of glaciers.
